80 vs. 20.
Grandma and I.
She’s been practicing Qigong since I was 10 years old and maybe a little longer.
First introduced to the art when she was suffering from severe arthritis in her hands.
A friend of hers introduced her to a group of Chinese elderly women who met several times a week to breathe in different sitting postures for 45 minutes to an hour.
It was horror at first she said lol disciplining herself to hold hand positions seemed pointless.
But she was persistent.
45 minutes began to feel like 25 , then 10 minutes.
Her awareness being more in the (now) day after day.
After 3 months of training with these women, her arthritis had gone away and never returned. This was in her 60’s.
From then she moved onto a new Qigong master , where she has learned many things to increase her health and longevity.
Here we stand in Mother Palm.
A stance that cooks the Qi in the body.
Heals, and removes blockages.
Now being passed on to me 🌸💕
