Book Select – How to Change Your Mind

I’ve been meaning to post this book after hearing about it on a podcast with Joe. I noticed the person next to me on the plane was reading it. He thought it would an interesting read being he just made it back from Japan after serving 9 months in jail for LSD. More coincidences like this are more confirmation that I should be starting this podcast ASAP. Everyone has an experience to tell.

When Michael Pollan set out to research how LSD and psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) are being used to provide relief to people suffering from difficult-to-treat conditions such as depression, addiction and anxiety, he did not intend to write what is undoubtedly his most personal book. But upon discovering how these remarkable substances are improving the lives not only of the mentally ill but also of healthy people coming to grips with the challenges of everyday life, he decided to explore the landscape of the mind in the first person as well as the third. Thus began a singular adventure into various altered states of consciousness, along with a dive deep into both the latest brain science and the thriving underground community of psychedelic therapists. Pollan sifts the historical record to separate the truth about these mysterious drugs from the myths that have surrounded them since the 1960s, when a handful of psychedelic evangelists inadvertently catalyzed a powerful backlash against what was then a promising field of research.

I’ve been thinking and getting more encouragement to begin sharing some of the good stories I have in the book of life. Many of them experiences everyone can relate to and some not so relatable one of a kind. I think I will be doing a podcast “Introducing the Cube” and I want to start the first episode talking about that one time my friend Jenny surprised me by bringing me inside a temple in China town that I’ve walked past every day after eating a handful of mushrooms. I like the way the audio sounds on iPhone so I may wing it from the good ol X for now but either way be on the look out for the cubes.

Kemetic Ka Ba Ra System

Kemetic Ka Ba Ra System

“Mastery of Passion allows divine thought and action.”

This chapter is about the Sefer Ba Ra (seven souls of Ra), also known as the Arats or Cows, through which the life-force energy (Sekhem or Chi) flows from the Self and sustains consciousness and ones being. The Life-force moves through the Sefer Ba Ra with the intention, direction, and focus of Consciousness itself.

Without the Sefer Ba Ra there would be no multiplicity, levels, or nature to existence: there would be only singular non-dual existence with no expression. It allows for the expression of individual existence and spiritual energy to be used for sexual energy to allow beings to interact with one another through a individual mind and body. Consciousness is the tool which the Self uses to create and interact with itself in the form of Creation.

Already you can see from this small paragraph that there is much more to an individual being then what is normally known; most people understand life to be about acquiring possessions, relationships, having children, etc, without knowing why, how, or who “I Am”. This is part of how creation operates. When there is a shift in the individuals intention through introspection or insight into Self, the direction and focus of consciousness shifts, sexual energy transforms back into spiritual energy and the individual is lead to self-realization and yogic union with the NTR / Ntru.

The Sefer Ba Ra are seven energy centers through which consciousness operates and exists in time and space. This is also represented by the Seven Cows of HetHeru through which the Single Bull of Amun reproduces life. The first three steps (1-3) are the most readily understood by the average person.

For example, the first step represents the idea of being an individual person who must eats, drinks, thinks, and acts, to survive and enjoy life. The second step represents the idea of being an individual person who must have sexual experiences, sensory pleasures, relationships, and desires in order to enjoy life. The third step represents the idea of being an individual person who must assert their will-power, assert their individual identity (ego), and act as an individual in the world to enjoy life. These three levels are the ordinary levels of an earthly being and many people do not grow past these levels of consciousness.

The steps show consciousness centers, and each carries with it a level of experience and development in which the consciousness interacts with creation as an individual being. This means for example that a persons second step (sensory consciousness) may have developed an experience of pleasure derived for a specific sensory pleasure (example: chocolate), and when the consciousness desires pleasure the second step might exert energy on the individual to pursue chocolate.

To acknowledge that one who cleanses the first three Cows understands, I will now give a new way of looking at the normal consciousness levels as they operate through an enlightened mind.

The first level becomes; “I am not an individual, I am the eternal The NTR and I am provided by self, even if I don’t eat or drink and my body decays, I will not die, thus I do not need to fight to survive.” The second level becomes; “sexual energy is only a manifestation of the spiritual life-force coming from my true self, thus I do not have to pursue sexual experiences, relationships, desires, or actions, in order to survive and enjoy life.” Third level becomes; “I am not the body or mind, thus I am selfless, thus I act selflessly and do not have to assert my individual will or interest, or act as an individual, in order to live and enjoy life.”

In order to experience the higher levels(4-7) one must, through Smai Tawi (spiritual yogic practices) and Shedi (spiritual intelligence through study), begin to understand themselves to be more than an individual human who experiences only birth, disease, old age, and death. The pressure of individuality makes it impossible for a person to realize their higher consciousness levels. For that reason they cannot be broken down in the same way as the first three were above, because the average person would not be able to understand that level of consciousness intellectually. This book is designed to show one how to heal, open, and harmonize, which leads to attaining above average physical and mental health as well as spiritual enlightenment.

Over-View Of: The Kemetic Life-Force Energy Teachings

At a number of temples The Ntr Khnum is seen creating seven Ka for the Per Ahh (Pharaoh). These seven aspects of the personality (Ka) represent the seven chakras, the seven endocrine glands, the seven aspects and instincts of creation existing within an individual and creation itself.

These are: survival (adrenals), Generation (Gonads), nourishment (the spleen), nurturing (the thymus), conscious development (the thyroid), creativity (the pituitary), and aspiration for unconditioned experience (the pineal).

Sefer Ba Ra- Cows – and Glands are three different ways to describe the same thing. The glands are the most important aspect of the body and are largely misunderstood. The glandular system is responsible for secreting hormones that regulate the body’s development (Youth, Puberty, and Old Age), that trigger sexual energy fertility and reproduction.

If these glands are working properly the body is healthy or if there is an obstruction then there is illness. The glands if obstructed, are blocked by pus or mucus, known in ancient Kemet as Ukhudu. It must be understood that this obstruction arises due to an even more subtle mental obstruction in consciousness, these obstructions are related to what are called “fetters” “sins” or “negative yoke”, and are related to intense greed, lust, anger, hate, resentment, etc.

Obstruction of these glands can result in subtle or gross (physical) disease and mental imbalances. If the glands are balanced one will have Life, Vitality, and Health, and if they are obstructed one will be susceptible to mental or physical disease.

egypt book of the dead | Egyptian Hieroglyphics Book of ...The purification of the glands opens new levels of consciousness, heighten the senses, and enable physical and mental expansion. This allows a person to turn disease into health, lethargy into vitality, and confusion and agitation into clarity and lucidity.

When a gland is imbalanced through blockage or impurity, it [causes] less energy (Sekhem) to flow through the body, this causes physical and mental impairment, which limits expansion in consciousness in the mental-physical chakra consciousness which is impaired. To understand this you can look at it as a lamp. If the wire has an obstruction anywhere in it, this can weaken the light from the bulb or causes no electricity to pass from the socket to the bulb. The socket is the Self (the source of energy), the mental- physical consciousness which exists in the spine is the wire (conduit for electricity), and the bulb is the light and activation of the mind.

Those whose centers are unopened or impure, generally move in life toward physical and mental ignorance and negativity, get themselves into negative situations they could have avoided or prevented; feel, think, and act ignorantly and carelessly, and live a self-destructive or unfulfilling life.

A person whose centers are opened and they are pure, generally are moving in life toward physical and mental knowledge and mindfulness, get themselves into liberating situations in life, and feeling think and act in an enlightened and healthy manner. This showcases how the energy of the supreme being works to support the pure and destroy the impure, without judgement, through each individuals own Sefer Ba Ra and Sekhem, according to that individuals actions in this lifetime.

Actions can either purify a person of negative karma and work to open the centers, or actions can strengthen bad karma and work to imbalance them. This chapter will show you how to work with your  Sefech Ba Ra and open them to experience the highest vibration of consciousness, which creates life, vitality, and health within an individual. Each Sefer Ba Rais a Consciousness unto itself. This means that as the consciousness shifts from the different levels through the day and through life, the consciousness level at that stage results in different levels of feeling, thought, and action, inspired by different aspects of consciousness.

The purpose of life is not to gain desired mental or physical experiences, but to reach a higher consciousness in order to experience unlimited oneness, expansion, fulfillment, inner peace, and happiness.

Positive Development

Each of the Sefer relates to aspects of life and consciousness which are to be mastered through Self. The manifestations of particular levels in life require you to experience, so as to master the experience. This brings a return to ones whole basis and nature and this occurs through the activation of harmonizing of the 7 Ba Ra with Ma’at (Truth and Harmony.) This is the positive and correct movement of purifying the Sefer. One should gain a greater oneness with the 42 precepts and the teachings of Ma’at and practice of MaaKheru.

Negative Development

Disease occurs when energy does not move freely and purely up the spine to the crown or from the physical world back to the causal realm (Self). First what occurs is physical disease or dis-ease which blocks the energy through either a dormant or active disease, or disharmonious feelings thoughts and actions (toxic character, personality, or lifestyle). This causes Sekhem to be blocked at particular levels as it moves up the spine. It is blocked by dormant or active mental disease due to impure mental impressions, conditioning, and attachments. This movement effectively blocks pure connection with the self. One should cease practice until they can redirect themselves to a higher pursuit and endeavor and resolve to overcome their ignorant conditioning, impressions, and attachments.

The Sefer — The Consciousness – The Realms of Existence

The Sefer are consciousness centers or conduits and realms of existence through which consciousness moves. They represent all of the consciousness levels as well as the levels of the Ta, Duat, and Pet Realm. Thus the Sefer and the consciousness encompass the path and attainment of Self-Realization and Self-Mastery, enlightenment, and ascension.

Sefer 7 – unconscious mind – Pet Realm
Sefer 6-4 — Subconscious – Duat Realm
Sefer 3-1 – Conscious – Ta Realm

Qi Gong – 80 vs 20

beautiful

80 vs. 20.

Grandma and I.

She’s been practicing Qigong since I was 10 years old and maybe a little longer.

First introduced to the art when she was suffering from severe arthritis in her hands.

A friend of hers introduced her to a group of Chinese elderly women who met several times a week to breathe in different sitting postures for 45 minutes to an hour.

It was horror at first she said lol disciplining herself to hold hand positions seemed pointless.

But she was persistent.

45 minutes began to feel like 25 , then 10 minutes.

Her awareness being more in the (now) day after day.
After 3 months of training with these women, her arthritis had gone away and never returned. This was in her 60’s.

From then she moved onto a new Qigong master , where she has learned many things to increase her health and longevity.

Here we stand in Mother Palm.

A stance that cooks the Qi in the body.
Heals, and removes blockages.

Now being passed on to me 🌸💕

Toilet that generates energy from human waste

Five years after the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation first challenged the world to design a sustainable and inexpensive toilet, researchers from Cranfield University may have a viable contender. It’s known as the Nano Membrane Toilet, and it was funded by the Gates Foundation in September 2012 for US $710,000.

March 22 is World Water Day, an appropriate time to highlight the grim fact that more than 2.4 billion people around the world still live in unsanitary conditions. Without access to clean running water, these at-risk communities face life-threatening sanitation-related diseases.

The Nano Membrane toilet’s design is meant to offset this scarcity. It’s waterless, easy to use, and provided it receives additional funding for field tests, could very well be part of the future of sanitation.

Alison Parker, a lecturer in International Water and Sanitation at Cranfield Water Science Institute, says her team’s new design is meant to serve poor urban areas, as those will be easiest to accommodate.

“It will be very hard to carry out the scheduled maintenance” in remote areas, Parker tells Tech Insider, mostly because the toilet needs maintenance every six months at a minimum to replace certain parts. “Instead, the toilet will be used in dense urban areas where a number of factors make providing good sanitation very challenging, but where it would be possible to facilitate visits from a maintenance technician.”

The toilet’s actual design is rather complex.

After a person has done their business and closed the lid, the rotating toilet bowl turns 270 degrees to deposit the waste in a vat underneath. A scraper tool then wipes off any residual waste from the bowl.

The solid waste stays on the bottom while the liquid rises to the top.

Extremely thin fibres, known as nanofibres, are arranged in bundles inside the chamber. They help move the water vapour that exists as part of the liquid waste into a vertical tube in the rear of the toilet.

Next, water passes through specially designed beads that help condense the vapour into actual water, which flows down through the tube and settles in a tank at the front of the toilet.

As for the solid waste that’s left behind, a battery-powered mechanism lifts the remaining matter out of the toilet and into a separate holding chamber. There it’s coated in a scent-suppressing wax and left to dry out.

Every week, a local technician visits the community to remove the solid waste and water, and replace the toilet’s batteries if needed. Residents can then use the water for tending to their plants, cleaning their homes, cooking, and bathing. The solid waste ends up at a thermo-processing plant to be turned into energy for the community.

According to Parker, one toilet can accommodate up to 10 people for no more than $0.05 per day, per user – in line with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s original criteria for the prize. Field testing will begin later this year, Parker says.

Book Select: The Vital Polarity in the Healing Art

Scrolling across instagram I came across an interesting picture. It looked as  if It were from a book so I asked where it was from and walaa…Energy – The Vital Polarity in the Healing Art some very useful information in this outline book.

Sacred and secret writings of the past were founded on an inner awareness of energy flow within the body, which we call man. They tried to share this wisdom with posterity in the form of symbolism, parables, and myths. Some of this knowledge dates back to an age when man was a superior being and had not yet fallen into the finality of involution in matter.

The Tree of Life has the brain as the roots, and the nervous system as the trunk and branches. There are three main divisions in its function. They are the cerebrospinal, the sympathetic and the parasympathetic systems. These must co-operate and flow into and out of each other, as does all energy that has polarity.

In the Tree of Life of the circulation of the blood, we have the arterial circulation as the positive pole, the venous circulation as the negative pole, and the renewal of the blood by oxidation, through the lungs as the neuter [neutral] pole, the preserver, the keeper, the balancer and restorer, like the sympathetic system.

Mind working through five etheric pattern field ovals with six governing centers connected by the ultra sonic [ultrasonic] central beam.

First oval is the head for control and direction. (Fire or intelligence)

Second oval is the throat. A link for expression through speech. (Ether and sound)

Third oval is the chest. The heart expresses the life energy in fluidic form the lungs and diaphragm as gaseous function. (Air)

Fourth oval is the abdomen nourishing and sustaining the body. (Earth energy)

Fifth oval is the pelvis perpetuating the pattern form. (Water energy)

Three fields and centers are necessary to express the soul as intelligence, speech, life and motion. Two fields and three centers are necessary to sustain and perpetuate the body.

Arms and legs are extension levers to overcome gravity by motion of shifting polarity forces from a positive through a neuter [neutral] to a negative pole and repeat.

What is an anti oxidant ?

Doing some reading on teas this morning I heard the words anti-oxidant repeated several times and decided to get more insight on what exactly it was.

Antioxidants are chemicals (both naturally occurring and man-made) that can prevent or slow cell damage. An “antioxidant” is actually not a substance; it’s a behavior. Any compound that can donate electrons and counteract free radicals has antioxidant properties.

Natural antioxidants are mainly found in fruits and vegetables, marine plants, and some seafood that eat marine plants. There are thousands of antioxidant compounds out there, but the most common dietary ones are vitamins A, C, and E, beta-carotene, and lycopene. Antioxidants can also be produced artificially and consumed in supplement form.

What Are Free Radicals?

Exposure to oxygen (aka oxidation) can “break” atoms, so they end up with unpaired electrons, which make them chemical loose cannons. These bad boys, called free radicals, are constantly on the hunt for spare electrons to stabilize their mixed-up atoms. Free radicals latch onto electrons from other cells, which can create a chain reaction of free radical-ness. Stealing nearby electrons means that the cell next door loses some of its electrons, therefore becoming a free radical in its own right. Sounds tiring.

What Do Antioxidants Do?

If the human body were a baseball game, antioxidants would be the first baseman. Antioxidants are one of the first lines of defense that the body employs to keep free radicals in check and prevent them from causing a domino effect of damage on other cells. Antioxidant compounds can “donate” electrons to unstable free radicals so they don’t have to snatch electrons from unsuspecting nearby cells. Antioxidants can also help repair cell damage caused by free radicals.

Be Metaphysical: The Subconscious Smile

I remember reading a book called The science of happiness, In this book there were many scientific studies on why people become and maintain happiness. They traveled all over the world to do research on this subject. The one universal symbol for happiness was the smile!

No matter what language you speak or where you are a from a smile is usually a sign of joy.  Honest physical expression of mental emotion right?  Is this always true though? When you see someone smile it does not always mean that they are happy within. People have the ability to put on a mask to represent an idea of how they would like to feel even if that is not actually their current mood. LW-2Why? I think unease/unhappiness comes with un wanted pressure especially if your dealing with some issues you don’t want to discuss.  I think most of us have experienced not feeling good or in a less social mood  but to avoid bringing attention to ourself and keeping people from getting in our business you give an appearance that is contrary to your inner emotion.  In the book they stated that even when you force yourself to smile it triggers brain signals that actually cause a chemical reaction telling your mind that yes you are happy.  So subconsciously we may be unknowingly making ourselves happy by putting on a “front” or throwing out a few not so genuine smiles so that they eventually become “real smiles” and true feelings of joy.

There are many ways we subconsciously deal with issues without truly knowing the reason for our response. You may find yourself craving a certain type of fruit or vegetable randomly. You go out and get this fruit or vegetable without even knowing that your body may be in need of the nutrients that are being provided within it.  By paying attention to your thoughts and being conscious of a change in mood, desire/cravings, and feelings you can begin to see the reasoning behind it all.  Knowing the reasoning will lead you to making the unconscious response more of a conscious decision. Sometimes we are too busy with the daily routine to hear that inner voice saying the small but essential requirements of life like drink more water. LW-3 LW-6

Yin & Yang Metaphysical Notes

While meditating WFEPICM-2I began testing a few sensations that I noticed. Sitting in a comfortable position I would focus on one part of my body, particularly my right leg. Focusing on consciously breathing in and out and focusing on a specific part of my body. Once i begin I start to feel my leg getting ‘jumpy’. It feels like a twitch or almost like it is little shocks happening inside of my leg. The intensity or amplitude of the pulsing/jumping/eletric feel is connected to the speed of breath. If the breathe is constant then the muscle will contract/tense up then on the out breath it will relax. If i breathe slower the pulsation will be much slower and not as intense. When I speed up my breath it tends to get more intense and less space in between the pulsations.  When I first felt this it was kind of weird but interesting and I began to try to take notes in effort to control the sensation and learn the mechanics of what I was doing. This is the basics.  I will use Yin and Yang as a general guide to the principals of polarity to what I describe.

WFEPIC-7

Yin  : In Breath : Root Chakra   –

Yang : Out Breath : Navel Chakra +

Align Pulse/ Thought with the flow of Breath/Energy /Qi

Amplitude is controlled by speed of breath.

Yin : Makes muscles tense

Yang: Makes muscles relax

Yin: Cool , Moon, Contract

Yang : Hot, Sun, Expand

Qi/Energy is built through Pranayama

Benefits … This energy has many purpose. Physically if you are tight in certain areas in your body you can use these concepts to loosen up the muscle gaining more relaxation. This is the basics of what I have come to realize and will continue posting information concerning energy and using breath to heal.  Stay Tuned and Be Metaphysical ! Peace
