Breath of Life

I have realized that breathing consciously is one of the foundations of gaining control over functions of the mind and body.  At first paying attention to my breathing quickly put me to sleep. Soon after I began to increase my duration of focus while remaining awake. The benefits of being able to maintain a conscious state of breathing helped me while going in and out of difficult asanas(yoga positions) with ease. Thoughts begin to slow down as your breathe becomes your object of concentration. Lucidity becomes a familiar place you can visit on command with the mastery of conscious breathing,  I mainly use Ujjayi breathing techniques. Bringing in air from the belly then up into the chest, resonating energy from your lower base chakra up into your throat chakra.

Mer-ka-ba

Mer refers to a specific kind of light that was understood in Egypt during the 18th Dynasty   Mer” was seen as two counter-rotating fields of light spinning in the same space. These fields are generated when a person performs specific “breathing patterns”. Ka refers to the individual spirit of a person. Ba refers to the spirit’s interpretation of its particular reality. In the human reality, Ba is usually defined as the body or physical reality. In other realities where spirits don’t have bodies, Ba refers to their concepts or interpretation of reality in the realm in which they exist.  Mer-Ka-Ba means the Spirit/Body surrounded by counter-rotating fields of Light, which is a vehicle to transport Spirit/Body from one dimension into another.

My experience with: Merkaba, 17 step breath technique

17 Step Breathe Technique.  This was one of the first breathing techniques I began to focus on. The results were interesting and it definitely opened my mind to different types of sensations. This is were my experience of the spinning/pulsating feeling originated from. The pulse is similar to your heart beat but that is not the source of it. You can feel your heart and the  energy pulsations moving at two different rates. Adjusting your breathe to imitate the flow of the pulsations of energy is one way to submerse your self into the sensation. This technique also helped me get familiar with focusing on mental ideas while maintaining breathe concentration. There are many discoveries I have made and knowledge I have gained through activating Mer Ka Ba

Ujjayi breathing

is a breath technique employed in a variety of Taoist and Yoga practices. In relation to Yoga, it is sometimes called “the ocean breath”. Unlike some other forms of pranayama, the ujjayi breath is typically done in association with asana practice.  Ujjayi is a diaphragmatic breath, which first fills the lower belly (activating the first and second chakras), rises to the lower rib cage (the third and fourth chakras), and finally moves into the upper chest and throat. Inhalation and exhalation are both done through the nose. The “ocean sound” is created by moving the glottis as air passes in and out. As the throat passage is narrowed so, too, is the airway, the passage of air through which creates a “rushing” sound. The length and speed of the breath is controlled by the diaphragm, the strengthening of which is, in part, the purpose of ujjayi. The inhalations and exhalations are equal in duration, and are controlled in a manner that causes no distress to the practitioner. “Ujjayi” comes from the Sanskrit prefix “ud” (उद्) added to it and root “ji” (जि): “ujji” (उज्जि), meaning “to be victorious”.[1] Ujjayi (उज्जायी), thus means “one who is victorious”. Ujjayi breath means “victorious breath”.[2] – Wikipedia

My Experience with: Ujjayi, Ocean Breathe

This is the breathing pattern I choose to go with when I begin my daily meditations and yoga practice. The first objective that is typically on my mind is to clear/slow down my thought patterns. The brain has different frequencies that it functions on, Beta Alpha Theta Delta. Beta brain waves (14-40 Hz) associated with normal everyday consciousness and a heightened state of alertness, logic and critical reasoning. My goal is to bring the speed of those thought frequencies down to Theta. Theta brain waves (4-7.5 Hz)  are present during deep meditation and light sleep, including the all-important REM dream state. Once Im able to focus the brain on breath control slowing down and operating on a Theta frequency of mind happens naturally. Resulting in picking up on metaphysical senses and sensations.

The Meditations of Flight

Things began to come into light vaguely like a lighter with a low flame slowly growing in the output of butane. It felt like I was following someone through a dark tunnel he was holding a dim light. I began to question where I was being led. Asking this question directly…my only response was being told ” not to think, here thoughts can be heard.”  This made me want to think more  but I cut that  current thought off short and continued on the right side behind the person guiding me. We made it to the end of the tunnel with what seemed to be a few turns. We came to a surface with gloomy grey misty  light. What felt like we were elevated greatly above ground and a huge cylindrical  corridor connected the two towering structures. The vibe that lingered was suspicion due to the no thinking warning. It also felt like an escape of some sort. Me being the person being led out of where ever I was previously. Near the end of  the corridor a square cut out was lifted similar to a pothole in the street I was made to get in first. I went down into the dark tunnel similar to the previous one but my guide shut the door on me. I had a brief moment where i felt like did not know what to do. In addition to not wanting to think suddenly I hear 2 shots .. I thought my guide was shot initially.. Instantly on the tail end of a quick panic I  heard the same voice that said “dont think go this way”. I also felt like I suddenly knew what I where I was supposed to go. Soon after i appeared at the end of this tunnel that exited out from the side of a huge mountain highly elevated. I remember being told by the guides voice saying I was to fly to the east side of this mountain using the sun as my guide. Hesitant to jump I imitated a take off twice before jumping off. I also remember being told use your gear to fly. So I launched my self off of the side of the mountain beginning to fly. Looking down was a large body of water to my left connecting to a white sand like beach. Green white and blue were the main noticebale colors i picked up. The altitude I was flying at things at ground level were very tiny but the mountain was huge. I completed my decent to what seemed to be a opening similar to the exiting port in the side of the mountain. The decent was not completely to the ground level more so mid mountain. Still a very high entrance  in the mountain. … I opened my eyes after I landed, felt like I was being led somewhere w/out enough knowledge to what was going on. Plus I was in no thought stealth mode so not too much time to contemplate, only do.

Lessons I learned:
These mental places are only a thought away. Once the thought is lined up correctly the images will begin to flow. Concentration and the  Use of breathe to build up the energy within is key to seeing.  Deep breaths activate the pulsation. Find your center in the middle of what seems to be swaying sensations and gain control of the flow of energy. An interesting sensation came over me once i began holding the citrine. A blanket energy felt like a wave of slow moving water surging over me. With these sensations the two usual reactions it causes me to take is first make note of it then allow myself to go deeper within the sensation. I think thats enough unearthly knowledge for today
